The story behind our mobile home. My parent was needing help on her 10 acres so we decided we would move a doublewide on the property in 2009 after doing all the restoration to this home...
We are currently using the home for storage and everything will be moved out before you need to move it. So please forgive the junk you are seeing in these pictures.
We purchased this home in 2006 and totally redone it...you might say...it had soft kitchen and bathroom floors where they must have had plumbing problems and leaks...It also had a sunroof which we took out as it was leaking too...And put on the heavy guage metal roof which is very nice not to have to think about leaks or replacing blown off shingles...
Most manufacturers do not use what I call real wood...They use partical board for floors and no subfloor...We redone the floors with regular heavy 3/4" plywood and then a thin layer of special board you put on before putting Linoleum Vinyl floors down...
We took out all the cheap windows - you know the cranks..and installed new doublehung, double tilt in windows...All the windows now have real wood trim instead of the cheap thin paneling the manufacturers use..
The carpet has the heavy duty padding that is covered in somekind of special plastic not the cheap padding that most use that is thin and multicolored, This padding stops spills for getting to the main floor boards as it has this special plastic on it...It is a thicker padding than most and the carpet is nice thick plush brown tone.
The plastic plumbing that most use nowdays has been replaced with the new PEX pipe 2 years ago, It is non-resistant to freezing and breaking...Very nice and expensive to do...Just check into that...ha ha
The kitchen is very nice with tons of cabinets...More than most regular homes have even. We will leave the microwave, dishwasher and range,ac, washer and dryer in the home...sorry there is no refrigerator but we maybe able to get one for you if you need one.
New front and back doors.
New sinks, stool and countertops.
The only thing that I would do if I was going to buy it is maybe steam clean the carpets. I am trying to be as honest as I know how. Thank you for taking the time to read my ad. Nancy
